This site provides official information about the Faculty and the Scottish Bar, its organisation and links to details of all 450 advocates and their clerks.

Scottish Legal Complaints Commission
This is the successor to the Scottish Legal Services Ombudsman (whose old website is still available at www.slso.org.uk). The site is smart and well laid out with detailed information and resources for complainants and practitioners. Pick of the resources would have to be the video on mediation and the good practice notes on complaint handling. An e-newsletter for Client Relations Managers is also now available to subscribe to.

Edinburgh based solicitors’ organisation. Introduces the society and provides details of the CPD course and online booking facility. Increasingly contains feature articles and events of wider interest beyond the profession.
Scottish Law Agents Society
The Society is concerned with all legal and practical matters affecting its members and represents and promotes their interests and standards. The site appears to be regularly updated and has a collection of articles and news about the SLAS and current topics of interest.
